Hello I’m Marjaana!
I was born in Finland but after graduating I wanted to see the world, so once I got my degree in BBA (Service Sector Business Operations) I relocated to London. I spent eight years in the UK working in project management, marketing and online customer support related roles in an online environment.
Then I relocated once again, this time with my family, to my current home in Dubai. I decided to go for my dream and focus on what I love doing the most: helping people by taking care of the details and transforming chaos into results. My Task Guru was born!
Project Management & Marketing
I have been in charge of many different projects from small ad hoc tasks to larger projects. I have guided project processes from start to finish – this has involved planning, organising, controlling resources, and creating procedures in order to achieve the project goals.
I have managed and redesigned websites, blogs, and social media accounts. This has included e.g. text, photo & creative updates, on-site SEO (to improve results on search engines), and answering clients’ DMs. I have also managed the global distribution and localisation of video/webcast/TV show content.
Administrative Tasks & Customer Support
I have processed invoices, created budgets, planned schedules, delivered complex reports, managed orders, prepared & edited different types of documents such as contracts, made travel arrangements etc. I have provided customer support by email (in English) to external and internal clients all over the world and drafted email templates about promotions for the entire Support department.
